Thoughts? Did you like the season?
I actually did!
I obviously entered season 3 with a lot lower expectations than I did the last time, so I was pleasantly surprised... I luckily don't need to like Wille or see a wholesome relationship between him and Simon, to enjoy the show. I think it's overall tied nice together, and doesn't have the wtf moment like s2 did.
I do have a hard time seeing Wilmon endgame as a "happy ending" at this point tbh. Wille got less and less likable, and I think his and Simons relationship seems more and more distant. Yes they had a lot of sweet moments, but I feel Wille is getting more and more sucked into his world and has kinda lost his empathy for Simon? He seems more self centered than ever, and Simon is so alone. I really can't wait to see if they manage to turn this tanker around in a believable way in just one episode... Or if they will make endgame, but with us sitting back not believe they will last one second anyways bc nothing changed. Good thing it's just a fictional couple, bc yikes!
I really like the Erik twist. And that we got a little lurk into what happened before Wille at Hillerska. The irony of it all, is that August turned out to be the good guy. He got the biggest redemption arc and is more likable than Wille now (like wtf). Also his and Sara's relationship is the most healthy of them all and August love for Sara seems more genuine than Wille's love for Simon. Also Sara had the best storyline out of all the characters.
I feel like Sargust kinda became Lisa's Noorhelm... Which is kinda tragic in a queer show haha.
