Idk if there’s an official term for it, but doomed parents are my favorite trope. You give me a couple who are so in love with one another and are so excited for the future because they have a kid on the way, but the universe cuts in to ruin everything? You show the story in reverse in how their kid learns about how much their parents were happy, how ready they were to have their kid, before disaster strikes? Show the aftermath of what ended up happening yet knowing that in another life they could be the family they wanted to be? I’m eating it up and asking for seconds I love it so much

Guys I watched Kubo and the Two Strings recently and I love it! I am highkey in love with Kubo's parents, their story is so sweet and so romantic and so tragic 😭

Anyway I'm kinda hyperfixating on this movie so expect more fanart 😅

So my favorite part of the  SariHanzo animation so far-

here is the part where Hanzo brings Sari to his village, but then-

Sari spots Hanzo’s little fanclub at the corner of her eye and was like “Aww hell naw”--complete with a glare and everything-

but they still fangirl anyway.

(it’s like they didn’t give a shit a goddess was staring them down with daggers)

First post of the year and it's Kubo and my two new favourites 🥰 (thought I'd make a reference for myself)

Forbidden romances are my trope!! 

I especially love it when it’s between:

“I’m the most powerful princess out of my family and I’m next in line to the throne but I feel like my relationship with this guy ain’t gonna be appreciated by my people (especially our parents) and so Imma run away with him out of the blue and be hated for it” woman 

and 

“I’m the leader of this group that is also of noble status but is lesser compared to my wife’s kingdom and I was totally on the top of her parent’s hit-list, and they thought they got rid of me only to find out later that I actually survived. I also like wearing my hair in an updo” man

then they have a kid that’s basically “I only grew up with a mother figure and I’m struggling with trauma for the remainder of my life.”

So yeah. Can’t wait for Season 4 of Star vs. the Forces of Evil :D

See, this is why Kubo had to be set in ye olde days of Japan.

There would have been Twitter wars between Hanzo and the Sisters, and the Moon King would post salty things on social media to try and not so subtly tell Sari to dump Hanzo because he’s a “peasant”.
