The toponym is of uncertain etymology, but probably of Umbrian origin, like the city itself, whose origins date back so much back in time.It was home to the great Roman playwright Plauto. It is located on the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, for a nice trip from the sea taking some fresh air and relax as I do when I need some peace as in these days.Nice!
