BASICS

▸ is your muse tall/short/average? Average height. ▸ are they okay with their height? Now that this is brought up, yes, he does have a minor issue with it but has learnt to ignore it over the years. When he was younger he was always bothered by being short when practically all other Saxhleel he encountered were taller. It reminded him that he was not physically a Saxhleel ▸ what’s their hair like? Pretty thick, it would be very fluffy if washed. Most of the time it is matted with dirt, leaves, etc and awfully greasy. Is naturally wavey. ▸ do they spend a lot of time on their hair/with their grooming? Given Anti would try to eat soap if you gave him some, it is safe to say Anti doesn’t quite understand grooming. Whilst he will perhaps brush his hair on occassion (with his fingers), Anti isn’t very clean at all. And he does not care, he was not raised to clean himself on a daily basis. ▸ does your muse care about their appearance? Yes. He cares an awful lot about his apperance in terms of wanting to look as much of a Saxhleel as possible and hide his Dunmer origins. Even though he has left his face alone aside from his Hist leaf tattoo (owing to his parents begging him not to disfigure himself further, at one point Anti came very close to getting his nose cut off), he does on occassion have it painted to look reptilian. ▸ does your muse care about what others think about them? Yes, an awful lot. He often considers about how he may act before doing so. The exception is the Dunmer, he honestly doesn’t care if they hate him.

QUESTIONNAIRE

▸ what are some of your muse’s bad habits? Self-harming himself and punishing himself for even the slightest mistake or upset he may have caused others. Anti blames himself far too much, which only leads to further unhappiness. He still has the bad habit of locking himself away/isolating himself as opposed to seeking help and support because he doesn’t want to burden anyone.

In addition, Anti’s limited understanding of the Common Tongue and how its grammar works (in addition to a somewhat limited knowledge of the outside world) means Anti can often end up involved in a misunderstanding. He also has very little understanding of property (even after many years exploring the rest of Tamriel apparently he refuses to recognise that you can’t just waltz into someone’s house) meaning he often fails to knock, could walk right in and rummage through your stuff out of curiousity.

▸ has your muse lost anyone close to them? how has it affected them?

Yes. Given his age, Anti has outlived many of his original adopted family memebers. The closest person to Anti was his adoptive father, and although Anti was at a bit of a loss when both his parents died (his mother being the secondmost person he was the closest to), he did not feel grief. Because Saxhleel are reborn through The Hist, he knew he had not really lost them. He could revist their memories anytime in The Hist, and he knows he could run into their reincarnated selves at any time.

Perhaps it is because of this that rather than becoming sad at their loss and feeling hopeless, Anti only worked harder and strived to make them proud. Because in a way there is every chance they will recognise their son and he does not want them to see him wrecked. On occassion he does miss them dearly and can become sad for a time.

▸ what are some fond memories your muse has?

Most of the times spent with his adoptive father. Seeing river dolphins for the first time. Visiting his first festivals. The first time he performed magic or succeeded in a tricky spell/dance. Learning magic with his mother. Seeing his students succeed. Playing with his many nieces and nephews. When he graduated. Performing in the festivals.

▸ is it easy for your muse to kill?

Yes. Growing up in Argonia means Anti learnt to kill to survive and defend himself. He knows that a single hesitation will cost him life. And whilst he prefers to avoid killing as he is not a violent person, if he has to, he will. Moreover, he knows that if he does not kill whomever he has to, then they will kill him or someone he cares deeply about. And Saxhleel defend their loved ones to the death. He has never lost sleep over killing someone pretty much, simply because he understands that that is how survival works. He could be mistakingly seen as a coldhearted murderer or mercenary for this.

▸ what’s it like when your muse breaks down? Anti will get very quiet and will start to cry almost immediately. He starts by crying silently and will look for a place to hide away. Most often he’ll be blaming himself. He will try to avoid any contact with anyone so they are not upset by his distress or have to worry about him. But if someone is really concerned about him and wishes to comfort him he will not protest their company if they insist.

▸ is your muse capable of trusting someone with their life? Yes, once Anti trusts someone he trusts them fully as Saxhleel believe in that when you trust someone you woudl give your life for them, and them vice versa. So once someone has called him their friend he would trust them with his life.

▸ what’s your muse like when they’re in love? Anti is aromantic so he has never been in love however he is in a strong platonic relationship with his mate. Essentially his mate does love him, but he can only return strong feelings of friendhip, in some ways he hates how he cannot return her feelings in full. So because of how selfless Anti is, Anti is willing to enter a relationship with someone who loves him once he has consulted The Hist to ensure the other person would be a good match. This is mainly so he makes the other person happy. And whilst he does not love them romantically, he loves them deeply as a friend and as such shows them a deep amount of care. He oftens goes out of his way to cheer his mate up and enjoys nothing more than surprising her and making her laugh. He will remember every little thing his mate says that she likes and surprise her with gifts, etc.

BASICS

▸ is your muse tall/short/average? At 5ft6″ he is perhaps a little short for a male Dunmer ▸ are they okay with their height? He’s fine with it. ▸ what’s their hair like? It’s dead straight, waist-length and a deep black. It’s a tad on the thick side. It is slightly thick but not too much. for its length it is surprisingly healthy but has a fair number of split ends. ▸ do they spend a lot of time on their hair/with their grooming? When he has an important function or Council meeting then yes. But aside from that Sarves is honestly awful at grooming. He can sometimes go multiple days without washing which wouldn’t be so bad if he didn’t work in the fields nearly every day and get covered in manure constantly. Typically he’ll get dressed in whatever clothes he can grab, tie his hair up in a messy bun and is done. ▸ does your muse care about their appearance? Not really. ▸ does your muse care about what others think about them? Very much so, as a rising member of the Dres Council he has a keen ear as to the public’s opinion of him.

▸ what are some of your muse’s bad habits? Working far too much, to the point of exhaustion. Worrying far too much. Because Sarves is climbing the ranks as a politician and wishes to get Morrowind out of its famine, Sarves sees all of Morrowind as his responsibility. And so he often works himself so hard in both trying to sort out House Dres and Morrowind’s food issues. So he can be found to have fallen asleep at his desk. He also worries that he isn’t working hard enough or doing enough which only results in a bad temper and/or him becoming ill.

Sarves has a great deal of trouble relaxing and often feels guilty if he is doing so. It takes a lot of effort to drag him away from his work. His pacificist nature can work against him in that sometimes being ruthless would be the better option but Sarves refuses to go through with it, he’ll be reluctant and extremely stubborn at best.

▸ has your muse lost anyone close to them? how has it affected them?

No, anyone Sarves treasures is very much alive given he grew up in high Dres society, meaning he and his loved ones were very well-protected. However he is now somewhat close with a few of his farmhands and he sometimes hear about their losses. He can only dread experiencing grief himself, and does his best to ignore the fact that one day he will have to experience it.

▸ what are some fond memories your muse has?

Playing with his pet cockchafer beetle. Growing his first plants successfully from seeds/bulbs. The vast majority of his travels. Trying marmalade for the first time. Walking through tall, thick forests. Tending to his little garden he had when he was a child.

▸ is it easy for your muse to kill?

No and it will never get any easier for him. Despite knowing he may have to call upon the Morag Tong occassionally, he cannot bear the thought of sheding blood, directly or indirectly. He will exhaust every alternative before resorting to killing someone.

▸ what’s it like when your muse breaks down? Sarves becomes rather quiet and intensely focused on whatever he is doing. And if he is doing nothing he will find something to do, mainly hoping this will distract himself and prevent him from crying or snapping at someone. When extremely upset, Sarves becomes uncharacteristically short-tempered and will snap at anyone. However he will not be afraid to accept comfort and may ask for a hug at points. In which case he’ll cry into the other person’s shoulder.

▸ is your muse capable of trusting someone with their life? Yes, as a Dres noble, Sarves knows that anyone could want him dead and so he very cautious about trusting anyone to that extent. He may only fully trust someone if he has known them for a long time or they do something that proves their loyalty to him.

▸ what’s your muse like when they’re in love? Goo. Just a big pile of goo. Sarves will be rather happy, prone to laughing and perhaps takes more care in his appearance than he otherwise would. He will go out of his way to make the one he’s fallen in love with happy (expect a lot of presents and surprises). In addition he’ll be more than happy to leave his work if his love interest asks him to come out for a bit. He may be prone to sneaking off with his love interest. He may come across as a bit daydreamy at points if he’s away from them for long periods of them. Sarves will also be very excitable.
