sasaki and despe are too much of romantics at heart tbh, so ozawa gets to be aro. i mean hes also very much just a shit gremlin anyways so the more space there is in his body for that so he can be a freak instead of having to hold onto romantic attraction, the better!

im torn between the other two tho cause both would be great... but i think i wanna give bodily harm to despe cause hes used to it and his deathmatches spark joy. and also cause sasaki would make a fantastic milf and i wanna put that thought out there send post

oooooh my sasaki notes are a little all over the place lmao but!!

so basically hes the leader of the street gang damnation ta

previously he was also part of/kinda second in command of another gang(/more of just a reckless friend group) damnation. cause hes very good at names obviously lmao

he has a history with endo as they were friends during the original damnation days; they werent really an item, but their relationship status was questionable at best, where sasaki really looked up to him and just did basically anything he could to impress endo

which led sasaki to actually get his cybernetics/body mods, which was also kind of the thing that made endo leave the group and separate himself from sasaki and his shenanigans

for important context, endo is someone that works with cybernetics and takes great pride in his work relating to them, and he was extremely offended that sasaki would get cybernetics installed by someone other than himself, which leads to the fallout between them

speaking of sasakis cybernetics, he has probably my favorite one in the entire au, as he has a physically forked tongue (think along the lines to what demus has, actually) thats cybernetically modified to be able to use ultrasounds to make the listener more susceptible to suggestions made by sasaki

originally damnation ta consists of the usual suspects, sasaki, mj paul and kanon; later on sasaki recruits ilusion (to grab him away from schadenfreude international, one of their rivaling street gangs, that was interested in recruiting ilusion first) and okatani to their ranks

soon-ish after okatani joins, sasaki proceeds to throw kanon out of the gang tho cause kanon has other jobs and aspirations outside of damne that he seems to deem more important than his gang work (which is kinda hypocritical cause both ilusion and okatani are the same way, actually), tho a bigger reason is definitely sasaki finding out that kanon and okatani had a really messy and high key disastrous relationship in the past so they absolutely can not function in this space together; and sasaki ends up choosing okatani as a member over kanon

theres also definitely a longterm will-they-wont-they sorta situation going on with sasaki and el desperado but dont worry about it lmao despe is another character thats still a lil wip but his background is already so messy and its only partially thanks to sasaki lmao

later down the line, what i like to refer to more as 'end game' in the au after most main plot points and such have concluded lmao, sasaki at least partially abandons the gang lifestyle to instead focus on opening up and running a bar, when it all reaches the point where most of damnes active members are in a point where their own lives are becoming more important than his agenda of running the streets, and honestly, sasakis just kinda getting tired of it all especially after the long term rivals in schadenfreude international seem to call it quits over time lmao

i tried thinking about this really hard cause im honestly very easy when it comes to shipping lmao but i think the answer to this would be strickpage? im not a hangman girlie and really never have been, but i love swerve to death and them doing this "will they, wont they" enemies to friends arc was really good honestly

im currently kinda iffy about them again, like i get the appeal and it keeps me hooked at times, but yeah its.. idk? it has so much potential but at the same time i high key dont care about half of the ship but also it compels me. lmao
