amon does not get enough love and i just dont understand why i mean what’s there NOT to love??? he’s a huge parallel to kaneki- could even be considered as the second protagonist. i just don’t understand…

i talked about this last night and im pretty sure its because of how hes associated with the CCG and many people find the ccg, as a whole, uninteresting, flat, boring

plus the manga is set mainly in the pov of the ghouls, with the investigators being their enemies 

so from the get go the audience (most) already have an established opinion of the ccg AND the people within (like i almost never see anyone sympathize with the victims in the ccg, only ghouls) 

with that in mind you can kinda see why people will not really care about any of the ghoul investigators (until seidou happened; he had a very very small fanbase until he was reintroduced as a half ghoul)

ITS FRUSTRATING, YEAH bc then you have amon who has ASTOUNDING character development thats on par with kaneki’s and you see the conflicting thoughts he has, how kaneki has made him rethink what he sees to be “right” and “wrong” in the world and he’s so complex and interesting and i
