after sasha's charity benefit, it was like something set a fire in preston. he hadn't been that enamored by a woman in years. he called, he texted, he even left emails and voicemails. preston was the type of person who would hang up after three rings, but for sasha? he'd wait.

he knew nothing about her other than being a coworker of his younger sister, he knew she was successful, but that was it. he yearned for more.

finally, after two weeks, sasha answered on the second ring.

"a date?" she laughed.

"a date." he replied.
