Prom Night. 04 2016. Acrylic on A3 cardboard. Quick painting. I used a reference of a celebrity, but changed the features and colors to make her look more regular #art #painting #acrylic #portrait #sashajor #sashajorart #facebook1 #london #prom #promnight #girl #face #cardboard
Words of Spring 03 2016 Acrylic on A2 Painting from my Easter Sunday session with my acrylics and paper. I didn’t know if I wanted to paint before I started, but I didn’t want to just sit and rest, so I started covering the paper with a color that hadn’t received much attention up until then The image came to mind vaguely, partly inspired by the sun, partly by the feeling of new beginnings and love for the world It stopped unexpectedly, like it came. There was nothing else I wanted to experess It’s one of the few of my own doing that I can look at and wonder, taking it as a painting done by an artist and not as a personal project with many imperfections waiting to be fixed

Horn 2016 Watercolor, ink on A3 paper This is somewhat an unusual style for me. I tried it out because one of my drawing students loves the ink&watercolor works of Brandon Boyd. So this is a piece based on his style, trying to understand the essence of it. Sort of a tribute, if you will. The result is something fresh and different I think, considering my recent work, which I am intrigued to explore further.
Another one of recent sketches - this one inspired by looking at impressionist paintings #art #impressionist #impressionism #facebook1 #london #charcoal #charcoaldrawing #sketch #sashajor #sashajorart
Another quick painting in Photoshop. I’m really enjoying this style - it’s basically just painting, but not worrying about extreme accuracy. Love it
