I think the hype is less ‘In the Russos we trust’ and more ‘we want Whedon out’. :))

Yep, it probably is, but I've seen a lot of "the Russo brothers can do no wrong!" kind of thinking on and outside of Tumblr, and I wonder how much the fans who feel that way know what the process of making movies (especially big studio movies like these) is like  :S Because I'm always shocked to see just how much say the "money people" aka producers and other non-professional writers who are only thinking about the business side of movies and who don't have any idea what counts as good storytelling have in the creative side of movie-making, including the screenplay.

It's true that the Russos did a good job with Cap 2, but I personally don't know what the fact that Marvel wants to keep using them means. Because knowing Marvel's track record with directors and some actors, too, I kinda assume that the Russos are the kind of directors who work well with Marvel because they're willing to make compromises and put the studio's vision ahead of their own vision and just get the job done.

Or I could be wrong and it could be that Marvel trusts the Russos so much that they're given free hands with their movies, but seeing what's already happened with Cap 3, I doubt it. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong (and I probably am because what I know about the Cap franchise comes from news articles I read on screenrant.com), but didn't the Russos originally have a pretty different plan for the movie, and weren't they also saying that they had no plans to do Civil War only a couple of months before the Civil War announcement from Feige?

And there are things in the first Avengers movie that I wish had been done differently, but I don't know if blaming every shitty creative decision on Whedon is right either, and I have to admit that I don't understand the hatred the fandom has for Whedon. I mean, I do understand it if someone hates him for who he is as a person, but so far he's only made one movie for Marvel and we have no idea how he handles AoU until next spring, but some fans treat him like he's the worst thing that's happened to the MCU. And yeah, I do hate some of the choices made in the first Avengers movie, but I also wonder how much those choices were influenced by the studio and how much of them were Whedon's own idea. It's probably a little bit of both, which means both Whedon and the studio are to blame for the things I didn't like grrrr.

Heh, sorry this got kind of long :P Anyway, feel free to agree or disagree with me! I obviously don't know how things are done at Marvel and I can only speculate, so there's a good chance I'm completely wrong about these things.

1) Favourite TV Show. I surprisingly don’t have one in specific, I have many that I like but not enough to call it a favorite, but the one that gets closer to the definition is Hannibal.

2) They are taking the Hobbits to…? Weren’t they taking them to Isengard? To therapy should be where they’re taking him, those poor little ones have seen too much haha

3) Thing you hate the most that people do? People that hate others based on sexual preference, appearance or even on the things they like. That they park in the wrong spots in the wrong way in the mall and any other place, that they are rude and of course, religious people that don’t really understand their own religion and the ones that try to force religion on other people.

4) Favourite genre of music? I’d say indie and classic.

5) Favourite car brand? I don’t really care about cars too much, as long as they’re not too ugly and they can take me to places without falling apart I’m contents with pretty much anything.

6) Pop, juice, or water? Water, or tea.

7) Roleplay or fanfiction? I’d say both. I role play because sometimes I’m too lazy to write or read fanfiction.

8) City or country? Um, Mexico.

9) Something that you wish you could do but are too nervous/afraid to. Asking a person out, because I’m painfully awkward and I’ve never been on a date, and coming out of the closet to my family, tho I’ve been kinda doing it and making jokes and insinuations because I want to avoid the conflict and the questions.

10) If you could be the best friend of a famous person, who and why? Mh, it might sound a very predictable answer, but I’d say Tom Hiddleston. I believe that besides being incredibly nice, there’re so many things I could learn from him, not only about literature and history, which would be quite nice, but to learn how to love myself and just find the right path in life and becoming a person I’d be proud of. And of course, I’m a pastry chef, he loves pudding and I’m addicted to tea lol

11) Favourite way to communicate with friends? I don’t have many friends, if at all, so the few “physical” friends I have near me I guess by phone or text since I rarely do any of both -nor that they contact me at all either. And as for “digital” friends, well, there’s tumblr and email.
