This is why I keep checking too. I honestly don't WANT to be done neither marvel and thor, but I knew it would happen eventually. I thought I could weather a year of two of bad writing, but.... this isn't like when you got that shitty writing and thor joined that weird god cult and beat up hercules.... this is more like everything 90s.
Man, I’m so glad I skipped almost all of the 90s Thor comics. Although I guess that means I was unaware of the potential low they could scrape.
The part that really baffles me is that it is the same writer as when it was good a couple years back. And, y’know, actually, now that I’ve read it, looking back on his insistence at that panel that it’s all been one big arc that he’s been planning from the start... I can see it. I see what he meant. But that rather sours my opinion on the early stuff rather than giving me any hope for a better resolution. Y’know how there are some writers you’ll read whatever they put down because you know the way their brain works jibes with what you like in a story? Jason Aaron is now the opposite of that for me.
But yeah I don’t want to be done with Marvel and definitely not with Thor. Writers come and writers go, I guess? Even whatever editor or exec is approving this stuff won’t be around forever. Turn to fandom for comfort and better narrative sense in the meantime?

No. And that is why they keep losing readers to DC.
Yeahhhh... if only DC had more characters I actually liked :-/

thanks for taking one for the team! now i know to skip it...
I’m tempted to tell y’all to go ahead and read it so that we can all be appropriately mad about it together (because man srsly). But for the sake of your blood pressure it is probably better not to.
