Chikn Nuggit/Dumb Dumb

So I’m a big fan of animatics and amvs (we can thank warrior cats for that) but since I don’t have access to any form of digital art, that’s not really something I can do. BUT, that hasn’t stopped me from planning out my ideas for potential amvs. So here’s one that I’ve had the idea for ever since Chikn was first revealed to be a god, it’s just that I only recently finished it. The song used is Dumb Dumb (aka Everyone is Dumb) by Mazie. Hope y’all enjoy :b

Disappointment takes us by surprise-Chikn slowly walks from left of the screen to the right, view zooms in slightly on his face as he looks up to his right, views changes to the others hanging out together and laughing (the entire main gang as well as Bezel and Hawt Saus), important that Cofi and Chee r being gay during this

Even though by now I think we should have realized-Iscream growls and displays their claws to Fwench Fwy, they both laugh, then glance over slightly before doing a double take, concern growing apparent on their faces, then look back to eachother and nodding

Everyone is dumb-view faces Chikn, standing in the middle of a simple single color background, hunched over slightly and holding onto his arm, he and the background slowly lose saturation as a black, sketchy void creeps in behind Chikn

(dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb)-Bezel particle effect fades in behind Chikn but in front of the void (he, as in Bezel, is not desaturated and is his normal colors), cocking his head to the side at the end

La, la, la, la, la, la, la-The face of each main character (other than Bezel ofc), one character for each “la”, Chikn being the last one, desaturated and the only one looking sad

ev-Chikn sits in the middle, looking at the camera, the background behind him is a simple meadow with flowers and a blue sky, Chikn looks content, happy even

(Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb)-Chikn runs frantically in a panic (the screen doesn’t move, it just follows Chikn and Bezel, but Chikn runs and his ears flop with the movement of it, he’s running towards the right side of the screen btw), Bezel floats just above and behind Chikn, he lies down on his stomach as he floats, head rested on his hands and kicking his legs back and forth because this is Bezel we’re talking about, the single color background shatters and falls behind Chikn, leaving a white void behind

eve-Chikn plays with/talks to Chee happily, the background is a slightly pastel color

ry-Chikn is surrounded by the whole main crew and is extremely happy, the background is a brighter version of the color, Chikn is a slightly brighter color too

one-the crew begins to separate (Fwench Fwy and Iscream, Slushi and Sodi Pop, Chee and Cofi), Chikn’s expression is fairly neutral, maybe surprised or caught off guard, Chikn and the background lose some saturation and darkens

is-the pairs leave both off the view of the screen, as well as Chikn, Chikn looks dissapointed and stares down at his paws (as in his feet, not his hands), Chikn and the background lose some saturation and darkens

There must be something in the corn flakes-Chikn sits at a table, staring off into space, head rested on his right paw, his other paw poors cereal into a bowl, mid-pour the cereal glitches and suddenly becomes little shapes resembling the heads of Chikn’s friends, Chikn’s eyes widen and he drops the cereal box, knocking over the bowl in the process, he then falls out of his chair in the panic

Making it hard for us to think straight-Chikn clutched his head, wincing images, scenarios, places, and more flash behind him: (these aren’t in order and not all of them will make the final cut, this is just an example) him Slushi and Chee watching a movie, Cofi and Chee on their date, a party, outer space, fire, a field, static, a somewhat messy kitchen that looks to be mid-baking project, a fast food drive through, Chikn as a baby (like a normal baby dog) being held by another dog who we can only assume is Chikn’s parent (their face is cut off ofc because this didn’t happen), Slushi talking to Sassparilla with a very excited Sody, a pond full of frogs, a distorted background full of eyes limbs and horrors alike(not Icecreams world tho, just generic eldritch horror), Iscream being assigned on their mission, the entire crew at a pride parade, graves portraying the names of Chikn’s friends (even the immortal ones), Milkshek on a date with Old Pea, a bloody knife on bathroom tile, etc etc

I just wanna go from here-Chee walks side by side with Slushi, they’re both looking at their phones, Chee stops, her paw hovering just above the screen, a concerned look on her face, she turns her head to Slushi and says something inaudible, Slushi looks over and replies (inaudible) looking unphazed, Chee cocks her head as she speaks (inaudible) an image of Chikn and a question mark appearing above her head, still looking worried, Slushi now looks worried as well

Close my eyes and disappear-close up on Chikn’s face while he’s gone full demigod, the pupil of each of his eyes is one of his friends (purple for Cofi, pink for Fwench Fwy, orange for Sody, green for Chee, Red for Iscream, teal for Slushi, and gold for Chikn himself), and one by one, Chikn closes each of his eyes, this scene continues into the next line

(disappear)-rings and distortions appear around Chikn, the screen seems to shake, then Chikn suddenly opens all his eyes and the screen turns black

I just wanna be the comic relief-Chikn walking with Iscream as they talk and laugh, then an animation that looks like a TV being turned off followed by black, this animation happens over the whole screen, replacing everything but a frozen in place Chikn with black, and the animation happens in Chikn’s eyes, replacing his pupils with static, then an animation that resembles a TV being turned on plays (both over the whole screen and in Chikn’s eyes), replacing the black with the scene for the next line (Chikn’s eyes are normal again, also he’s in the same spot and pose we was when the Iscream clip ended)

Making jokes, not taking any responsibilities-Chikn speaks to Sody as he (Sody) sips on a soda while sitting on a bench, Chikn has a concerned look on his face but laughs, one paw rubbing the back of his neck and the other gesturing as he speaks, a speech bubble appearing above Chikn with an image of Sody, an explosion, a timeline, and Chikn himself, Sody tilts his head before standing up from the bench excitedly and leading Chikn off, Chikn looks worried but hopeful

(Good luck!)-Chikn and Sody sit side by side on Sody’s couch, faces stricken with fear, the television reflected in their eyes

It's waking up inside of the dream-Chikn falls down from a black void into a white void, the spot where the two meet reacting like water as Chikn breeches the surface, his fall slowing down in the white void, sending bubbles up, behind him is Bezel’s clock, ticking away

Don't know what to believe-

And maybe that’s why-a framed photo of The Gang tm (including Bezel and Hawt Saus) suddenly bursts into cracks (as in the glass suddenly becomes shattered, but still stays in the frame), the cracks centered around Chikn

Disappointment takes us by surprise-Chikn faces the screen, just standing there, given up, looking past the camera into the distance, he’s so desaturated now he’s almost grey, then (at the end of this line) the view suddenly switches to everyone (except Chikn) sitting together like for the first line, except now they’re at a picnic table instead of just sitting on the ground, everyone is talking with one another (this scene continues through the music and into the next line)

Even though by now I think we should have realized-It zooms in slightly, centering on Chee, as she suddenly loses her control (I’m just gonna refer to it as “Blank”), turning desaturated like Chikn, eyes going blank, a speech bubble with Chikn appearing over her, it zooms out again so we can see the whole table, and she gets up to walk over to Chikn, the others pause and look on at her in confusion, however Iscream and Fwench Fwy quickly turn to eachother in panicked realization, Bezel simply seems pleased or satisfied

Everyone is dumb-Chee (she’s still blank) takes a step toward the camera (Chikn in this case), she’s smiling but there is no emotion behind it, camera view changes to face Chikn as his expression quickly turns to utter horror

(dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb)-side view of Blank Chee facing existential crisis Chikn, the image of this scene quickly fills with cracks, leading to the image shattering and leaving behind a void at the end of this line

(Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb)-Chikn runs frantically in a panic (the screen doesn’t move, it just follows Chikn and Bezel, but Chikn runs and his ears flop with the movement of it, he’s running towards the right side of the screen btw), but far more desperate than previously, he looks way more scared and is crying, and he stumbles every now and then, Bezel floats just above and behind Chikn, he lies down as he floats, hands behind his head and legs crossed, Chikn passes a couple of his friends as he runs, they look on at him, worried

La, la, la, la, la, la, la-the face of each character in the main cast, one for each la, each of them look concerned, except for Chikn who (rightfully so) is freaking out
