I wanted to thank you for writing the AU where James becomes the 7th Animorph instead of David, it was a great experience to read more of his underrated character. Also, it was quite satisfying to read how Marco destroyed Erek for indirectly causing Rachel's and the Blade Ship crew's demise. It kinda feels like something he may have secretly done in canon after Erek and Cassie said good-bye to each other.

I'm here for this headcanon! We don't know for sure that Erek made it off the Pool ship safely after that last conversation with Cassie in #54. Animorphs doesn't give us anything else with the chee. And you're right that it would be Marco — he has major issues with the chee from the start, and understands better than anyone how Erek's ruthless is mercy on himself. Plus, Marco knows the amount of dracon beam damage a chee can (and cannot) take, thanks to #45...

Yeah, I'm here for it. Marco can't kill the Blade ship yeerks, he'd never hurt Jake, but he can kill at least one of the people responsible for Rachel's death.
