Talk about a time you've been seconds away from punching someone for being stupid.

Cen seemed amused at Lyra’s question. “I think most assume I am a pillar of patience, and while it does extend far, it’s not infinite. The one time I can think of in recent memory is when a noble told me they couldn’t fight because of their family and children. While not inherently stupid, it’s still a pretty silly thing to say to two people who have children and family and fight.”

“The kicker is that they are the head of a military House. My frustration was eating away at my patience but I thought it wiser to not punch them in the face for being an uncaring ass.”

“Yes, but not intentionally. Turns out having a massive depressive episode and libido crash right after getting into a relationship with someone you’re actually not entirely compatible with will destroy it really quick. 

...And no. I don’t. It would be very hypocritical of me if I did.”

Reputation is definitely a take no shit and hold no prisoners kind of lady ;) You're one of my favorite people ooc and ic and I loooove how close we have gotten over the past few months over a few common annoyances.

I think Cen being so badass kind of made me realize that I should stand behind my convictions more. 

Also this is very much a ditto for me. You are a bright and passionate person and I’m so very glad that certain things happened so that we could be friends!

It’s no coincidence that the gay characters they create and the ones they ship them with are modeled after their own desires as straight women. It’s not even ‘exploring sexuality’. There’s nothing adventurous about it. It’s catered to a straight view.

Look, if you want to make/play/ship gay characters, I have nothing against it, but be honest and critical about why you’re doing it. If it’s just because you want to see your own crushes make out with each other for your enjoyment, examine that a bit. If what you find makes you feel uncomfortable, examine that, too.
