———————————————————————————————————————- 1. What was your first fandom? Probably Harry Potter, I think. Not that I knew that it was a fandom at the time, of course – I was like six or seven the first time my mother brought the books over from England. I loved them – but there was nowhere to fangirl over it, and even though I did fangirl with my friends, when middle school rolled around they mostly ended up making me feel bad about my enthusiasm for it (unintentionally, but still). 2. Favourite villain from any fandom? ‘Favorite’ as in the best-written, most believable villain? Or favorite villain as in the most evil villain? One of the best-written antagonists (I won’t call her a villain anymore do to current circumstances) is the Evil Queen/Regina Mills from Once Upon a Time. I honestly hated her outright at first – because I couldn’t see any real reason for her to be so completely the way she was. They kept dropping hints, but never saying anything outright – it was easy to dislike her when there was no good to be seen. But I really love how her character has developed – her past, and her present. It’s interesting to watch. Parts of it are easy to understand and sympathize with (even if I don’t agree with her actions). So, Regina for most believable. The most evil villain, however – Bellatrix Lestrange. I have a major affinity for the Longbottom’s, so we’ll just call that one a personal grudge, yeah? (Not that she wasn’t also well written, ‘cause she was, but you get my point.) 3. Would you ever ditch a site without informing the admin? Have I ever ditched a site without informing the admin? Yes, I have. But the circumstances were somewhat dire. Would I ditch the site without informing the admin? It’s possible. But I wouldn’t mean to do it – I have this tendency where, if the site is not open in a tab (so, if my browser quits on me and I’m trying to remember which tabs to open), I tend to forget about it. So sometimes I wind up finding the link to the site weeks later and I feel pretty awful about it, and I’m too embarrassed to show back up. 4. Would you rather be in the 74th (forest) or 75th (island) Hunger Games? I honestly am unsure. The 75th Hunger Games would scare the hell out of me, I think – because there are way too many fucking changing elements. The monkey mutts, the lightning thing, the screaming jabberjays… god, no. I don’t think I could. So for the purposes of that, I’d go with the 74th. But lets be honest, I’d probably not last through the cornucopia either way.
5. What three characters (from any fandom) would you bring together to create your own Avenger force? Oh lord, I honestly have no clue. Uhm. I’d want the Doctor from Doctor Who, Hermione Granger from Harry Potter, and… maybe… Viktor Vasko from Lackadaisy Cats Webcomic? 6. Favourite Disney princess/heroine? I always really loved Esmeralda. I mean, I like most of the Disney heroines, of course – they’ve got ups and downs, but Esmeralda was always great. I could remember, even when I was little, seeing the scene where she climbed up onto the podium and cutting Quasimodo free and shouting “Justice!” and thinking, ‘yeah, that’s the kind of person that I need to be in life’. Y’know what I mean? I should add, however, that I also love Merida and Rapunzel as well. 7. Have you ever been told you're like a character from a fandom (i.e. looks or personality)? Ah, you know, yes! Yes, actually, I have! I’ve been told that I look like Lady Sybil Crawley from Downton Abbey. That’s very flattering. I’ve also been told that I look like Anne Boleyn from the Tudors, but I’ve never actually watched the show… however, I do love Natalie Dormer, and I do love Anne Boleyn, so I’ll take it as a compliment? When I was little, my mother always told me that I was just like Hermione, but I think that’s her job to say ‘cause she’s my mother – though I had a friend who said the same thing, because my nose was always stuck in a book. However, that describes about half of tumblr so I guess that’s nothing special. 8. Who was the last person you called/texted? According to my phone, the last person I texted was my dad. I got mad at him because it looked like he was typing nonsense (so I thought maybe he’d sat on his phone and it had unlocked itself and was typing gibberish), and it took me like a full ten minutes to realize that he was typing his words backwards. The last person I called was my grandmother. 9. Last food you ate? Well, I just woke up, so I honestly don’t know… Last food I ate last night before bed was a chocolate glazed donut? 10. Vampires or werewolves? Honestly, I’d say ‘both’, cause I really do like both. But since it’s either-or, probably vampires. I like the possibility of a very long history that comes attached to characters like that; I like reading through things like that, it gives a lot of depth to them (or at least, it should, if you do it right…) 11. What was your favourite Harry Potter book? Eeek, I haven’t a clue – I loved them all. But probably the Sorcerer’s Stone, since it was the very first that I ever read, and when I pick it up, it never fails to make me feel like a little kid again. Sometimes you just need that, y’know?
