You know what we need more of on television?

Documentaries.

But not just documentaries, we need documentaries aimed at people who’ve been watching documentaries all their lives.

Documentaries with implied entry requirements.

Because a lot of millennials and Gen Z have been watching documentaries all our lives and I for one often find that the few new documentaries there are recover old ground. I want documentaries that assume existing knowledge and build upon it, and I bet I’m not alone.

look i made a big deal about wanting to learn the banjo and bought one and have never even tried that's the real thing holding me back

oh man i wish i could but that’s one of the things i wanna learn to play also. best of luck in your banjo endeavors

i mean, there’s some pretty cheap ones out there that are okay for beginners. like 20 buck ukuleles
