Anyway

Season 6 Soulless!Sam hooking up with Cas during the year he was gone.

Obviously Dean doesn't know and doesn't find out until Clap Your Hands If You Believe

Dean walks back into the room and finds Cas railing Sam.

"I was abducted, and you were too busy getting touched by an angel?!"

"To be fair, I did tell Sam that we should wait a few hours before we copulate."

"So what is this? How long has this been going on?"

"Since i got back, it's nothing, its just fucking."

Cas feels somewhat different and thinks it's more.

Resouled Sam trying to talk to Cas and having flashbacks to them and wondering if it's a dream or something else.

Cas wanting to tell him cause he got feelings for Sam but remembering that Soulless!Sam saw it as a fling to pass the time.

I've seen a lot of Destiel fics where Dean has a wing kink. But honestly, if Castiel showed his wings—Destiel or not— Dean would probably just make fun of him or feel a little weird. Like, he'd say he looks like a bird or something, and I doubt he'd want to touch the wings in a sexual way immediately haha. (I can totally picture him saying Cas looks like an X-Men ajkjs).

Ok I understand people give Dean a wing kink for the ship, I might do the same for Sam, but canonically, I think Sam would be the one more interested in Cas’s wings

Like, I do remember the appeal of the "faithless man finds faith in an angel of the lord" viewpoint on destiel, but I just don't SEE that at all when I've rewatched the show tens of times. It really only fits into a certain part of the timeline, and I'm not interested in that part or in AUs, or in that particular faith narrative tbh. But sastiel "faith-betrayed angel rediscovers faith in devout man marked for lucifer" is so much tastier! Castiel losing his faith in god only to find faith in humanity because of Job-like Sam FUCKING Winchester.

I'm kind of stuck on the way Cas didn't want to let go of Sam in this scene.

Sam and Castiel have a different language to show they care.

Sam will say it with actions, and everyday words. He'll say it through Castiel's name with excitement, with the word of trust. With notes and texts, and correcting others doubts of Castiel's actions.

Castiel will say it in their own words, and through the words they were taught, love, kindness, and trust. They'll mimic the excitement that Sam shows with their name, and correct Sam's doubt within himself.

It's the love that can be said without having to say it exactly. They care about each other and know it.

Thoughts on megstiel and/or sastiel?

Sastiel:

They're my chaos duo. They're smart but also so fucking dumb and impulsive and I love them for it. Sam trusts Cas so much (or maybe just gets horny) that he jumps on the chance for Cas to probe him and I was living for it every time.

Cas speaking Enochian makes Sam horny or wary depending if I want smut or angst. Bc on one hand sexy language stuffs but on the other, hell and possession trauma ;-;

Marathon sex. Because badass angel powers. I oscillate between inexperienced Cas who is surprisingly competent and eager to learn (Sam teaching Cas how to masturbate, hi, hello) and Cas essentially being a sex God who fucks Sam up to the point there's no way Sam would ever touch anyone else. Just, yeah, can I have Sam and Cas doing deeply kinky things to each other? Please and thank you. Soft things are nice but so is the spicy shit, ya feel me.

Have you ever thought about Cas possessing Sam out of necessity or curiosity? Bc I haveeee.

I like to think that on one of the many hunts they've been on together, they were mistaken for a couple, and Sam thinks back on the moment fondly even though he was an idiot and never told Cas he wanted it to be real.

One of my favorite sad/depressing thoughts is that, post 15x18, when Sam finds out Cas is dead, as soon as he has the space to be alone and grieve, he curls up on his bed and cries. Bonus points if he's holding onto something that belongs to Cas.
