I love Sam Winchester because while he had something corrosive inside of him, he NEVER let that define who he was, despite his struggle against it.  His heart and soul have always been pure and he always does what he feels is right.  He puts his life below others and preserves to help them rather than himself.  He always atones for any wrongdoings he feels he does and takes responsibility for ones he shouldn’t. 

Sam overcomes, he suffers, but it doesn’t taint who he is.

Ugh, I know. It pissed me off SO BADLY. Yet a certain group of shippers can scream “qUEERBAITING!11!!” about the show when, oh wait, look – look who is actually doing it.

yes. unfortunately Misha has done a lot to make people think there’s queerbaiting on the show, and apparently he’s still doing it... just contributing to create more wank in the fandom, way to go.

It depends on how you feel about Claire but there was some good Sam POV and some good Cas moments as well as a couple of Dean. I didn't mind it, had low expectations and kinda liked it.

so basically if I ride the wave of low expectations I should be ok :D

hehe, sociology here and in the same boat :D I’m getting decent grades but it’s like pulling fucking teeth. I literally had an easier time getting through nursing school than in this one fucking class

First of all, if you can call your class an ‘inexact science’ then it’s not a fucking science. Second of all, no math problem should ever have multiple right answers. AND, who the fuck needs to know probability? What the fuck for? Just the fact that the damn book couldn’t properly explain probability without resorting to 101 gambling examples is a good indictment of how absolutely fucking useless it is (unless you wanna calculate your chances of winning the lottery) I mean wtf, so much work for nothing.

Granted, in any scientific profession you should know your sample sizes, you should be able to recognize sampling biases, your should know your means and your standard deviations. The shit you learn in the first 2 chapters out of like 20. But z-scores and t-scores? Literally no one cares.
