sasuke x reader
established relationship
Sasuke stopped paddling, taking my hands in his own as the boat drifted to a stop. His thumbs drew circles on the backs of my hands as he stared at them. He brushed the ring on my left hand with his fingers with care. He sighed contentedly, squeezing my hands slightly.
“I love you, you know that, right?”
I looked up from our intertwined fingers. He was looking at me, his Sharingan gleaming. I smiled at him, holding his hands between my own.
“I know, Sasuke. I love you too,” I told him, and any leftover tension visibly drained from his body. He cracked me one of his rare smiles, and I wished I could sear it into my mind like a brand. He was so unbelievably handsome when he smiled.
We went silent, watching as cherry blossom petals drifted on the wind into the water, falling like snow around us. A petal landed on the top of his head, a soft pink spot amongst his sea of inky black locks. I found myself desperate to kiss him, to claim his lips like I did at our wedding years before.
“Sasuke,” I said, breaking the serene quiet, “will you take me back to the shore so I can kiss you?”
Sasuke smirked, giving me an indulgent look as he untangled our hands, taking up the paddles once again.
“As you wish, princess,” he responded, rowing us back toward the docks.
