NYC indie duo Satellite Mode never fails to captivate us with their gripping combination of noir-pop and alt/electropop. Recent single Bad Woman is but more of that lavishly compelling amalgam. Dark whizzing synths and torrid burning guitars accompany Jess Carvo’s classically trained voice as this gripping palette of sound builds in urgent energy towards foxy electro rock territory.
