For what it's worth (so sorry if this is unwelcome/unhelpful info): satellite-night, one of the best Jongho writers I've ever read, writes top!Jong/bottom!Ho, which startled the crap out of me at first (and, like, there's no question/argument about it in the fics), but it's absolutely influenced how I approach the pairing in my own writing.

He writes the sweetest, softest Jongho (also an influence on me 😁) and half the time it's a T fic so no smut even ensues. But I find it so DIFFERENT and sometimes a little refreshing.

CAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMM! I honestly should’ve done this months ago, but life sucks sometimes and I got totally thrown off balance but whatever because this is a bad sentence lol I’m sorry.

When I wrote those little notes to some other authors I admire a while ago, you were one of the first people I knew I wanted to say something to. It’s crazy because I think I’ve sent you the most messages on Tumblr about your writing. I don’t know if there’s anything new that I can say about it though orz. It’s breathtaking, really. I don’t know how you do it. The things that you write, drabble sized or full on novella sized, are beyond the words that I have in my vocabulary. I mean that. You have a way with words and topics and stories and lives and feelings that I admire so much. I don’t think I’ve ever walked away from one of your fics without a question or a new outlook on something or just an overall sense wonder.

I can’t tell you enough how much R(NOS) touched me. I think about it every so often and I just feel so warm knowing that Jonghyun and Minho were so solid together. They knew it wouldn’t be easy at all times, but that was one of the things that made them special. Jonghyun found someone outside of his family who genuinely wanted to know him and spend time with him and be with him, and how often do we find that without or without a mental disorder? Ah, I just love it so much. Distress Signal and Pack Mentality and also Seaside are also my favorites of yours. So many feelings I have for your writing! I would express them here, but that would just be more reading for you and I’m already sorry this got to be so long...

So. I haven’t been as present as I wanted to be lately, but I saw your life update, but I also saw some good news about your cats! I’m glad everything has come together so nicely that regard. My heart broke at the news but then it mended after the new bit of news I saw so yay! I know you’re busy, but I hope that you’re otherwise doing well and having generally good days. Good luck with SBB, I’m so excited to figure out which one is yours lol.

Uh, I haven’t said much, but the main reason I wanted to do this was to extend my appreciation for your work yet again. I truly treasure your writings. Thank you~ I didn’t know there was a Jongho until I stumbled upon your blog and I’ve never looked back lol. Thanks for planting the seeds of me becoming a believer in the boyfriend power of Jongho uwu.
