theres one post on this website about one of my ocs that i really like seeing whenever i scroll thru tags.

no one ever talks about sathariel and that is intentional by design because she tries so hard to be relevant and yet she is entirely and utterly irrelevant, dragging olive down with her. olive is totally irrelevant for most of Round 5 because of sathariel. sathariel, actively pushes zoey to the front of the narrative.

and in the end?

relevant for a brief moment before disappearing forever. leaving everything behind, because she does not NEED to be relevant. unlike the other game masters who crave and rely on relevance, on plot, sathariel thrives when there is no plot. she thrives outside of it all. where she can rest

there’s also a explanation for all of the gang’s names under the cut if you wanna read em + old art

atticus is one letter off from attacus, a type of moth. it’s also most commonly used for boys, kinda like elijah!

charles has the same number of letters as gabriel, and can be shortened to charlie/chuck (gabe for gabriel)

i just switched the first two letters of tipha and tiphb’s names and turned it into eliza and leon. eliza has the same number of letters as enoch + leon and lisa

johnny is because it’s just the international ver of giovanni (tigerlily’s words)

uhh lillian i just thought sounded nice like michelle and was also 7 letters

callie is self explanatory, it has a longer spelling and spelled with a c instead of a k

henrey has the same amount of letters as daniel and was right below daniel on “top 1000 most popular boy names”

mallorean came from the book “the belgariad and the mallorean” begarion was the main protag of the book so i just took mallorean and boom you got sath’s name.

yehoshua has the same amount of letters as benjamin, and just kinda fit the tea boomer. yehoshua is the full name of yoshua

zion has two of the same letters, and has the same amount of letters.

ximena has the same amount of letters as carmen.

Okay, am I the only who doesn't hate Shahar?

She reminds me more of Rose in SU then someone who is cold and manipulative.

Do I think she had manipulative tendencies? Yes. Do I think she may have used her charm on Hunt? Probably.

But that's doesn't mean she didn't love him. She also took time to talk to him, to fly with him and hear his problems.

She honestly seems naive, and a bit removed from the very real conflicts she was championing. She lived in an alabaster castle with her sister.

She had rooms filled with jewels so I doubt she knew what money was worth.

It just irks me that for Hunt to love Bryce he needs to see Shahar as someone who used him. When she probably didn't, at least not fully.

I think their relationship was imbalanced definitely, but I also think she really did love him.

Why can't Hunt have instead realized that Shahar loved him and it wasn't healthy to hold a torch for someone long gone?

Why couldn't he have instead realized that maybe she'd want him to be happy with someone else?

Why couldn't he have realized that he could fall in love with two different people without one having to be better than the other?

Why couldn't Sarah make their relationship more believable and show that sometimes people grow apart. That an intense love born out of shared cause doesn't always last - see Jason and Piper from Rick Riordan.
