You can always count on a classic cheeseburger to taste great, with melted cheese, juicy beef, and your favorite toppings.
Ingredients: 1/2 lb ground beef. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 hamburger buns. 2 slices of cheddar cheese. Lettuce leaves. Sliced tomatoes. Sliced onions. Ketchup and mustard.
Instructions: Warm up the grill or pan on the stove to medium-high heat. Make two patties out of the ground beef, each one equal in size. Add pepper and salt. If you want the burgers to be medium-rare to medium-done, cook them on the grill or pan for about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and cover it to melt in the last minute of cooking. You can grill or toast the hamburger buns until they are lightly browned. Place sliced tomatoes and lettuce leaves on the bottom bun of each burger, then top with the cooked patty and melted cheese. If you want, you can add sliced onions, ketchup, and mustard. Put the other half of the bun on top and serve.
