Hey, you. You ever wonder what the Ultimate Despair is up to now that things have calmed down? Where those fiendish foes are up to after all their misdeeds? Well, good news! Me, Ibuki Mioda, and my friends Hiyoko Saionji and Mahiru Koizumi are here to set the record straight! We pinkie promise we're redeemed now, so won't you join us in "spilling the tea" on our past deeds and future plans? With occasional guest hosts from the other (former!!!) despairs! :D Mahiru squinted at the text, less so because she couldn't see it, and more because she felt dubious on it. "....Ibuki. Are you sure this advertisement is a good idea?" "Of course, Mahiru-chan!" Ibuki winked. "Everyone loves coming into these discussions on a positive note." "I'm just worried they'd see it as dismissive, or calloused... We did, uh. A lot of damage." "Oh, please," Hiyoko scoffs. "That's just how Ibuki is. They want honesty, and that's Ibuki's 100% raw self. What more could they ask for?" "Uh, an apology, maybe..."

"Pfffshhh." Hiyoko dismissed. "Apologies are for pussies." - Ibuki, Mahiru, and Hiyoko start a podcast.

My Hiyoko/Ibuki/Mahiru ot3 fic where they all start a podcast together. Has the side pairings of Hajime/Chiaki/Nagito - with Mikan being in a qpp relationship with them - Ryota/Imposter/Mikan, and the non rarepair of Gundham/Sonia. Also includes past/talked about Natsumi/Hajime, Sato/Mahiru, Mikan/Junko, Kazuichi/Junko and hinted at past one sided Sato/Mikan. So many ships! But it really is focused on mainly the Mahiru/Ibuki/Hiyoko one.

Oh these are two girls coded as extremely stereotypical female love interests without much going on past the surface level who then reveal themselves to have immense depth, part of which is murder. And good for them. I can’t keep using Women’s Wrongs as a justification for ships but like. It keeps being correct

Sayaka is BRIMMING with desire to give other girls happiness and self confidence and encourage them to follow their dreams and Mikan. Hoo boy. That is a girl who needs validation

Every interaction between them in UTDP is just them interacting like normal people (what Sayaka needs) and reassuring Mikan without making it a big scene (what Mikan needs) and that is so sweet

Sato/Mikan

Sato: known for killing bullies. Mikan: known for having bullies. Do you see what I’m saying here. It’s another Ult Yakuza/Ult Swordswoman au

The fact that Sato was canonically friends with the Twilight girls other than Mahiru never got addressed in DR3 which sucked, but it means that it’s a totally untapped well for potential dynamics. Was Sato as protective with Mikan as she was with Mahiru? Did Mikan find the courage within herself to defend Sato when she got into spats? Did Sato come to Mikan for aid when she and Natsumi got into actual fights?

This is a silly one. But they DO both have absolutely untamable long hair. Salon dates babeeey

I was talking with my second mom & something she said basically made me go from "I have bipolar -> I headcanon Sato as having bipolar -> I headcanon Mikan as having bpd -> bpd Mikan and bipolar Sato should messily make out". And you know what, that was for sure an ADHD moment, but I'm right.

1. I LOVE the phrasing of "my second mom." Two moms? Adopted? Stepmother? The mystery intrigues me. The new "talking to my partner"

2. I do want to quickly disclaim to The Fandom At Large, not necessarily anon personally, that if your only nd headcanons are the ones who murder people, you should maybe consider why that is
