Saturday stuff
A lovely, slow morning sipping coffee and chatting about everything and nothing. Then it was off to my Saturday morning class and grocery shopping.
Matt’s nerdbombing with our friends who moved to Brawley. Can’t wait to hear all about their house — when they bought it, it was still being built! Brand new in every sense.
Seems as if every time I take all of our accumulated cardboard down to the recycling dumpster more shows up at our door. Today was no different. When I was a kid, we barely got boxes in the mail — now it’s a near daily occurrence.
The only movie I want to see in a theater isn’t showing anywhere near me. I miss our independent movie houses — alas, don’t think there’s a Landmark left in town.
(I wanna see it on a big screen in the dark because it’s in French.)
I took Friday the 13th off as having my dental implants done and Monday the 16th is a holiday. Two four-day work weeks in a row!
