Satyrnine gazed through the mist at the incoming shadow. The being looked like a boatman drifting down the River Styx. "Now there's something you don't see every day, especially in my realm." His smile broadened as the figure came into view. "You look melancholy, old friend, but I hope you did not come here to out melancholy an exile."

The Autumn Prince gazed back at his own face. "No trick, good gentlemen," he murmured. He bowed at the person in front of him, a gesture of goodwill, but also his eyes scanned the fellow trickster, trying to gauge his intention. The fae did his own weapon, he could conjure to his side at any time. He did have quick reflexes, but was his doppelganger about to strike first...

The Autumn Prince inclined his head and sniffed the air. "I have given up on happy endings. Ever since Lord Oberon thought I was dangerous, I became nothing but hatred." He gazed into Liz's eyes before he stepped away and gestured to the gnarled trees of his realm. "He made me king of nothing, lady."

"I shouldn't be here."

Pari didn't even know how she'd even gotten there. In her haste to get away from a certain someone, she'd ended up.. in a world that wasn't quite her own.

Was it just a case of bad luck, or something else entirely?

But she knew one thing, acknowledging that she shouldn't really be there was the understatement of the century.

Satyrnine bit his tongue as he saw the blue haired woman walking through the mist barrier that constituted his realm. He peered through the trees, as they could function as his eyes and ears. "Who are you?" a windlike whisper whirled around like mist. The temperature dropped as mist swirled around the woman.

"There are much scarier things in my realm than wolves, lady," Satyrnine stated to the woman. "I am in perpetual purgatory where everything rots. I wanted to be king, so here I am, king of nothing." He let out a humorless laugh before continuing. "Or are you saying I'm the wolf at your door?"

Walks after long work weeks had always been especially precious for Elouise to take time for. Her passion and her life had been wrapped in the funeral home, but even she needed some time away now and again. The beauty of the ponds, marshes, and treelines were the perfection getaways without being too far from her comfort. She glides almost effortlessly across the uneven Earth, watching as the sun sets against the murky waters, revealing all the life underneath it in glittering rays. She can't help but smile, walking closer to the edge to crouch and watch with rapt attention. Pure serenity. That is, until she loses a bit of her footing and slips right into the water herself.

Satyrnine was the Lord of his Domain, whether he wanted to be or not. So, whjen he found another wayward soul walking into the Autumn Bogs, he had to investigate. An eye appeared on a knot of a gnarled tree above the brook. "Need help, dearie?" a voice echoed around the bog. The tree morphed into a man with unnaturally blackish green-hued hair and wearing a green cloak. He extended an overlong arm into the murky water, a curious smile on his face.

The Autumn Prince sat down beside the woman and sighed. "There are spaces to contemplate all around this wretched realm," he said, "why did you choose here?"

The lake was more like a pond, filled with a muddy sludge he wouldn't dare call water.

"Are you saying I'm dangerous or lovable?" Satyrn stated as he walked through the misty glade towards her. "I have been told many things. My exile made me cruel and deadly."
