This fanfiction is set from the show Chicago Pd - it may have Chicago med and Chicago fire references as well, though.
It dives into Erin Lindsay's background, her teenage years – but I'm also adding an original character in.
It's not a relationship pairing !!! That's 100% something I can't stress enough. But for the early Hank Voight fans? This one might be for you! It'll dive into things like his marriage, possible affair with Erin's mother, Erin's teenage years, and quite alot more! Possibly ranging from the timespan of 1999-2015!
So yea, let's watch my guy get shot, but what I really wanna write about is this random character that makes sense to no one but me!
Like, you never find out about his family, his school years - the man his mother married for two years when he was eight. Who brought him a stepbrother he'd grown closer to than any of his own, only for them to disappear one day and for him to loose his best friend.
Or about his brothers and how they hated him for what he hadn't seen, or was too young to understand. That they left as soon as they could. And he was now alone with a child - and in turn, he began to hate him.
As a child, it never motivated him to be better as it would now. He regrets it deeply, though, and it all forms the character and makes him more human, so it is something I gotta do!

Switching from my notes app to the last few pages of my sketchbook has made me write a bit on my outline
