“I – what? No, I was thinking more like... roads? Indoor plumbing. Universal social security - you know how many planets don’t even have a concept for that? It’s barbaric! And in addition to the lack of indoor plumbing, it’s really unhygienic -”

“Oh my god,” Rey says, because okay, sure, the part where he thinks galactic conquest is a completely normal thing to do kinda blows, but indoor plumbing. She has a lot more fantasies about indoor plumbing than she does about sex - Jakku was that kind of place. “Tell me more about your bad praxis,” she adds. “It’s kind of hot.”

Yeah, Savageandwise likes Yoko. However, I don't think it's because they see her as a cool/nice woman. It's because they find her character interesting, just like most people are intriguied by the villians. They don't go around defending/sugar coating Yoko's actions like those Yoko stans we often see. Anyone reading their fics knows damn well how excellently they nailed Yoko's fucked up/controversial personality. I hope we can all acknowledge this.

I was in a writing chat group with them and spoke with them on a fairly regular basis and I completely agree with that analysis of their work.

This writer really delves into the psyche of the personalities of the characters. Which they do very well. Deeply flawed and vulnerable, they are so talented with how they portray the intensity in each scene.

I know they don’t write in the fandom much, but we were blessed with their work. Really and truly an outstanding creative writer.

*trigger warning if you look into their works in fandoms. I believe some of their recent Oasis fandom fics involve incest and non-con/rape content.*
