Based on the information we have about Jasper's mom/parents, it makes me wonder if jasper is being abused in some way, shape or form. I'm only a casual watcher but I like the show so I'm only going off episodes I've seen on tv. Like that episode where jasper got a pair of Walkie-talkies and had it delivered to Henry's house? When he was asked why he said that his mom doesn't let him have fun things. Does this mean there's some kind of emotional abuse going on? Idk I'm just speculating.

I have actually been thinking this myself for a while. They never seem to really be there for him so that could even be why he idolizes Ray so much because he’s never had a real parental figure. He also seems to spend a lot of time at Henry’s house even if it’s with his sister that torments him. Everything kind of points to Jasper being emotionally abused….

Alright so one of my friends brought up the fact that most of pink diamond's gems went to blue diamond after she was shattered, except for jasper. So here are my thoughts on that. Blue and Pink diamond were obviously really close, which is why so many "pink" gems went to blue diamond, but blue diamond has let her emotions get in the way of her leadership. She still hasnt let go of pink diamond, and neither has jasper. Jasper needed a leader that could take charge and make decisions, in order to keep jasper occupied. If jasper went to blue diamond she wouldn't have been able to cope, but with yellow diamond she always had a purpose and a job to do. Without someone who could tell jasper what to do and how to feel she wouldve been lost, she wouldn't have been able to make decisions and be a proper soldier like she was made to be.
