hoy (04.jul.17) finalmente obtuve Diarios (Kurt Cobain)

estoy en mi éxtasis máximo, obviamente. es uno de mis exponentes máximos en música y uno de mis anhelos para mejorar día a día. él es grande, aún cuando no logró ver ese potencial en su vida, es magnifico en su propia esencia.

nadie nos dice que un diario pequeño no nos ayudará.

leo a Kurt pelear por salir adelante.

querer lanzarse en discos para salir de aquella pequeña zona y dejar de tocar es las sombras de clubes.

veo que lucha por mejorar y que aunque le duela dejar compañeros por el camino, no lo hacía sólo por él.

sigue adelante

lucha por cada cosa

por los pequeños sueños

por la pasión

por el amor

por la vida

y lo más importante

lucha por ti.

Dear Taylor,

I know you probably won’t see this but I’ve received some upsetting news. One of the moms that helps out in my high school’s music department has just informed everyone that the middle school I went to has to make some cuts. These cuts are being made to the music department there. These cuts are taking away music classes. The schedule for next year includes various gym, dance, tech ed, and team sports classes with little to no music classes.

I never did music in my middle school and wish I would have. Music helped me throughout my life and especially what has happened throughout my high school career with the accident. Just knowing there is a child out there who could be in the same situation as me and not offered the same opportunities to open their life to a better path instead of sitting in their sorrows makes me feel a mixture of being upset and mad. This can discourage them from getting better or not achieving their dreams.

There are kids out there who need music to combat something they’re dealing with in their life. There are kids who use music as their escape instead of turning to something bad to take away the pain. There are kids who dream of being in the music business. There are kids who simply enjoy music. These kids are going to be denied access to these classes because they couldn’t find any other classes to cut and saw music as the easy way out. Let me tell you this: I’m not going to stand for it. If you see this @taylorswift, your support would be very appreciated.

We must stand against this. We must share equal opportunities to all classes and not just focus on the gym credits. By only focusing on fitness, we ignore an important part of our population. I know this is happening to other schools in the nation. We can end this if we all take a stand and fight for music.

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
