Probably I'm going to lose lots of followers, I know.

I'm frightened by happenings in my country. I'm Russian, I live here my whole life and all I see now is how those little men in leather chairs care only about themselves. They don't even let independent candidates to be elected in Moscow government.

I'm terrified. Siberia is burning. Nothing is done to put out the fire. Governments said "It's all gonna be fine in 2 or 3 days when the wind changes its direction".

I'm afraid. Domestic violence was decriminalized in Russia. No one protects women who are abused. Police say "we'll come when there's a corpse". Victim-blaming on its bloom.

I'm devastated. "Saw" threatens LGBT+. "Saw" offer rewards to those who's gonna kill people from their list. At least one person from their list is murdered. Nothing is done to find out who's responsible for this.

I'm afraid for my life. For my family and friends lives. I'm afraid for the future of this country and our planet in general. I burst into tears every now and then, I can't sleep. And I'm not even in the center of this all.

So I beg you, don't go past us. We need you. We need your help. Please, help us to raise awareness.

To all my followers.

A huge part of my country is on fire. Millions of people are in danger and nothing is done to save them and to save Siberian forests and animals.

I'm sorry if those posts are spam to you. I just can't close my eyes and turn away. Russians need your help. Every sign counts.

We all should care about it. Many Russians didn't even know about this fire until now. Media are silent, there's nothing on news.

My heart is broken. So many awful and terrifying things are going on right now in Russia.

I hope you'll understand.

SIBERIA

Siberia is burning for more than 3 weeks. People are choking, animals are dying. The burning area is more than 4 millions hectares. The smoke has reached Canada and USA.

Greenpeace: Despite the statements by Russian authorities, the intensity of forest fires in Siberia is not decreasing but growing by the minute. This is not a local issue; this is a global climate disaster.

Foreign media started to write about the fires. Foreign stars (ex: Leo DiCaprio) posted videos and photos of Siberia. Russian media are almost silent. Most of Russians know nothing about wildfires. Most of Russian stars are trying to excuse politicians for doing nothing. Some of them organize "collective praying".

Wildfires are raging in Siberia, Alaska, Greenland and Canada, many of them in the Arctic Circle. Why?

Trump offered help to put the fire out. Putin declined the offer. Russians are told that the government has no money to put the fire out, to save people and animals, to save our forests. But here's for what our government does have money:

Of course, no doubt this is important too. But why our lives don't matter?! Why something is done only when the whole world is aware? And you know what is done? They sent military services, but all they can try to do is just to prevent the spread of fire. They officially declared that the fire can be put out only by rain now. Only by rain. And Putin refused help.

I'm thankful to every one who reblogged my previous posts about Siberia, signed the petition and helped to raise awareness. Thank you.

But 1/3 of my country is still on fire. People are choking, they haven't seen the sun for weeks. Animals are dying. Earth's lungs are on fire.

We, Russians, need you. We need your help. We need to be heard. We need our lives and our forests to be saved. Don't go past us.
