SAVE SIBERIAN FORESTS
I'm Russian. I live in Samara on Volga river. Siberia is in 3.000 kilometers away. Today the smog came to my city. You can reach Moscow by train for less than a day from here.
Siberia is on fire for more than two weeks and Russian government does NOTHING BECAUSE IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE TO PUT OUT THE FIRE.
Too fucking expensive. But the president, Putin, said that he's ready to help to put out the fire in Greece. Not in his country. Not in Russia.
It hurts so much to see how beautiful forests, the lungs of our planet, are dying. Animals are dying. People are dying. And the government does fucking nothing.
I can't stop crying whole day. My heart is broken. I'm terrified about my country's future, my future, our planet's future.
People in Siberia can't properly breathe. Hospitals are overcrowded. All they see is smog. And local governments say that the air is clear and that's just a mist.
