The Weeknd sports bandaged face at AMAs; Twitter has comments for 'Too Late' singer
The red-suited singer sported black gloves and made no mention of the apparel as he dedicated the first award to the late Prince. He was still wearing the bandages during his live renditions of hit songs "In Your Eyes" (with Kenny G) and "Save Your Tears."There was still no comment midway through the show, when the singer สล็อต accepted the award for favorite soul/R&B song and then favorite male artist. But don't fret, this is part of a continuing visual theme for The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye.
Save your and God, spare me their love, follow the Devil wherever I want.
Savior, defeat, thou has forsaken thee, died on the cross for a lie.
Your God is dead, Satan arise, vengeance invoke for all of time.
Reborn to bleed, casting to stone, heaven retreat, God is dethroned.
This time around I won't tell people to go read this because this isn't going to end well and I wish I could get away but it's too late for me now. Save yourselves!
Save your heart for someone that's worth dying for.
Chapter One
"It's not my fault that Ember gave me the wrong map, don't yell at me." Day muttered through the headset's mic as she furiously typed on the wireless keyboard that controlled all of the monitors that were set up in the hidden base that they had started staying in for the past three weeks. Sam, her partner was out on the field trying to blast away the assassins that had crept up on her unexpectedly.
"It's fucking frustrating. She's supposed to be trustworthy not to make a mistake like this. Now we're getting fucking ambushed because we're in the wrong area." Sam barked back through her headpiece. There weren't many times when she was pissed off but mistakes like this one could cost lives. Lives that they couldn't afford to lose.
"I know, we'll replace her when we get back home after the mission. Just get back here in one piece. I love you bestie you know that, but you're not the best patient in the world." Day laughed as she heard her friend curse her out before a load of gun fire could be heard.
It were times like these that she wished that she wasn't so tech savy and was more of a fighter. Don't get it twisted she knew how to shoot a gun and blow off someone's head if necessary but she wasn't exactly qualified to go out in the field and do some of the things that Sam did. Besides Sam would rather take the hits rather than allow Day to ever do such a thing. She'd rather have Day somewhere safe handling the tech stuff like background checks and terriotrial boundary alerts than in the mist of the all the madness she went through every time they set out on a new mission.
Most would think that they were in some kind of relationship when really they were just that close of friends. They always had been since day one when they first met.
"Samantha I'd like you to meet Day, she'll be your partner from now on. She's a tech nerd and will be handling everything that you may need to know why you're out on the field." Sam gave the shorter girl a once over before smiling. Day just had a pair of jeans and a hoodie on with converse. Her curly dark hair was pulled into a messy pointail out of her face.
"Nice to meet you, Day. Is it just Day?" She needed to know these things. Day just didn't sound like a normal name.
"Yes." Day chuckled as she walked closer to her to shake her hand. "It's a nickname that I've always stuck to. Is it alright if I just call you Sam?"
"Of course." Sam smiled as they began to walk out the room to discuss other things.
They didn't ever really fight beyond joke fighting and hit it off pretty easily. Even more so on their first mission. They had to go to Italy to do some recon on one of their bosses' nemesis who had been planning an all out war against him. It went well though, and they found an easy flow between the two of them.
What one lacked the other had. They were opposites but the same person at the same time. It may not make sense but it's just how they were.
It hadn't even over three hours before Sam had stumbled back into the hidden safe house with a few of the other girls leading her over to the couch. "I told you not to get hurt, idiot." Day frowned as she yanked her headset off and got off of her computer chair to get over to Sam.
"It's not that bad, chill." Sam muttered as she began to peel away the heavy jacket that she had on to protect her from the harsh cold weather outside.
Day just shook her head as she told Ember to bring over the first aid kit. There were several red lines that just oozed blood from shuriken and different blades that the enemies that obviously cut her with. "You're lucky they aren't worse. They did manage to cut you a few times though."
"Yeah, I managed to knock down the ones that could have done the real damage. These were from the amateurs that I just ran by on the way to the head honchos. No big deal. We'll set back out for our real target tomorrow. Ember, you're gonna have to find another team when we get back from this mission. One of us could have died because of that mistake." Sam said as she glared at the girl who just cowered away.
"You don't have to be so harsh, Sam. I was going to talk to her about it later." Day said after she cleaned up her minor wounds and then got up to through the bloody rags away. She was surprised Sam hadn't fought her about it. It was probably because it wasn't as bad as the last mission. She nearly lost her leg during that one.
"You can't be so soft when it comes to these things though." Day sighed as she heard her computer beeping alerting her that someone wanted to videochat. It was most likely their boss Trevor.
They never knew if that was his real name all they knew is that that's what they were supposed to call him. He was a few years older than them but you wouldn't know it by the way he did business. "I'll pull it up on the big screen." Day said knowing that Sam wasn't gonna want to move at the moment to speak to their boss.
They knew they were in for a scream match within the next few moments. Trevor didn't like having them out and away from home more than necessary. Because of the mess up on Ember's part they were late. They should have been on their way back home in the next few hours. That wasn't going to happen.
Sam rolled her eyes in Ember's direction as Trevor's face came on the screen and he didn't look happy. The only thing that was running through her and Day's mind was one single thought. "Here we go again."
Save your time for someone else. I'm better on the floor. Savior, I defy myself. Will I become something more?
