Argentinian here confirming.

The crazy thing is... I keep thinking about this as a rehashing of the events that led to our current state of affairs: there are 45-50yo out there here in my country who are the stolen babies of the disappeared. We're still looking for them. We're still finding them, and they are reuniting with their families. There are still many who are still missing.

And every single piece of news I read about what ICE is doing takes me back to how they are doing the same thing, and it's going to lead to the same place.

It's disheartening, seeing history repeat itself. Like we never learn.
