excuse me while i cry 😭😭😭 honestly nesta is such a complex character i feel woefully inadequate to build a version of her at all???? so i always try to find an angle for her, and i think — her fear? is what kinda dug into me? she’s so fierce!!! but the world is *terrifying* and she’s painfully aware of it. and honestly im so glad u like her now 😭😭😭 and it makes me feel warm and gooey for my attempts to write her.

much like alys for aemond; you have bewitched me. you are the alys rivers for me. you've perfectly captured her essence. your style of writing matches so well with her otherworldliness. i can't get enough of your prose.

your understanding of alys is incomparable. when i think of her, i think of you.

i also absolutely love your armand. the work and care you've put into such a complex character. it's hard to describe armand besides just... deep and archaic. a staple in gothic literature for so many. the vampire armand was the first anne rice book i ever read and it's what sent me spiraling into my obsession with her work. and you've really mastered his voice, his mannerisms. i love reading your headcanons for him. i get so excited to see what you have to think and say about one of my favorite vampires to ever exist in literature.
