The floods destroyed homes, washed away farmlands, and ruined apple orchards, leaving communities in distress. Many people lost their lives or went missing. The government issued urgent warnings, advising against travel to Himachal Pradesh due to ongoing risks. Schools and colleges closed. The state faced a huge loss, highlighting the need for recovery. Experts urge for better infrastructure, regulated construction, and environmental protection to prevent future disasters.

Entirely abandoned by authorities ! The Shimla-Dhalli bypass requires attention of Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department and Shimla Police.
