Happy Just A Card Day! A brilliant campaign @justacard1 to let people know that every purchase from an independent shop, however small, helps the shop stay in business. And if that's not enough, you can sleep well at night, because independent shops are ethical and don't exploit and abuse people. They also pay their taxes, so they help fund hospitals and schools. David Bailey was kind enough to take photos of Mick, Bill (not 100% certain it's Bill, could be one of the other Stones) and Bob. Then he made a book of the photos, which ended up in the bin at work, which is how it ended up in my bag. The Calvin Klein advert was ripped from the Gagosian magazine (Fall 2017) which came to me by the same route. No photographer was credited. The trees came from an article about Henry Moore in the same magazine, the photo is by Sarah Mercer. When I left college I had 3 exhibitions in lovely little galleries. Those galleries are no longer here. Gone, never to return. It's a great feeling when you sell something, even something as small as a card. *The voice artists employed in the making of this video were paid a decent wage.
