One thing interesting about Ninjago is often our protagonists ARE the villains. And I don’t even just mean the obvious “Zane was the Ice Emperor” and “Jay was Rogue” (though those are definitely included)

But like. Sometimes I think about how after the ninja defeated the preeminent it caused Djinnjago to basically fall apart. And even though I doubt the ninja knew that would happen while trying to keep their OWN world from being destroyed, it’s like. Dang, you kinda fucked over that place?

It makes me kinda wonder if the merge has anything to do with that whole ordeal? Then there is also all the time travel stuff they were up to as well. Like who else COULDVE caused the merge ? Tbh maybe I should rewatch Ninjago because I know there were the sky pirates who ?????? I don’t actually remember their deal very well but there were all sorts of weird things going on there. There were the time twins who went to different timelines… The Oni iirc did smth in Faith’s realm but I don’t remember…

Tbh my memory is foggy rn but the ninja did a LOT of realm travel so I wouldn’t be surprised . Like I know the show mostly is pointing towards Wu being responsible for the merge (which ??? Fair enough) but I can’t help feeling like the ninja have at least something to do with it right ??????????? Idk man I’m sick and sleepy I’ve gotta rewatch and take note of every time the realm travel because even in the pilot episode they go to the . Idk if it was a realm I don’t remember but the place the skeletons and Garmadon were

I got so distracted but even outside of the realm stuff the Ninja are even seen as villains by others a lot of the time like. Especially by other villains actually. I don’t rlly think the serpentine deserved to be trapped underground so I think it’s fair they’d be mad about that. Idk why Harumi was mad at Lloyd but I assuuuuuume it’s because kid lloyd helped the serpentine get the fang blades or smth ???????????????? Or did they just not kill the great devourer fast enough idk 😭

This show is so fucked up when you think about it like what are theses Legos doing

Jaya should never be portrayed as a straight ship. When Nya was Samurai X everybody thought she was a man and she let them assume that. Tons of girls were crushing on her. Jay dressed as a girl and laid on a train track to convince Samurai X to save him (her?) (that scene kills me because instead of just taking Jay off the track Nya builds new tracks for the train to go on????? 😭)(also it’s so funny to me neither of them bring this up again)

Anyways I love both trans man and trans woman headcanon for both of them like. Pointing at them. They are in no way straight THEY CANT BE!!!!! There was also whatever the eff Jay and Cole had going on . And we know Cole right. The original #alivebutgay (<-true.)

I imagine nya is probably somewhere on the aro spectrum but like she loves jay okay. Just not the same way and that’s okay methinks.

The dancing scene is so funny to me because like. Yeah we aren’t doing the tango with a rose as lovers 🙄 the rose means nothing and the fact we are in perfect sync doing the tango?? Just a cover. We are just pretending to be in love. I hate her .

LIKE yeah let’s pretend to be married and go on tons of dates together until we fall in love again. I mean what no I meant for the cover. It’s for the cover. We’re pretending to be married!

And like in the end he’s like Oh I actually Enjoy spending time with you. Like idk do you really have to go all out for your cover at the dance class 😭 friends to lovers to friends to lovers to water to lovers to enemies to lovers or whatever
