Hera: Oh man I have lots to talk about but I’ll just say that intersectional feminism is very very very important and we really need to address things like misogynoir (misogyny directed towards black women where race and gender both play roles in bias) and other manifestations of anti-blackness from non-black WOC and white women. We also need to make sure that trans women, women with physical and/or learning disabilities, neurodivergent women, women with different body types (diverging from what’s considered “normal”), and women that are victims of trauma (physical, emotional, mental, and/or sexual) are properly acknowledged. I think we’re slowly getting there but it makes me really sad to see the tensions between white (as in race) and non-white feminists because being educated and being in solidarity is a very important thing in getting closer to equality.
(I’m really bad at making good posts about these things so I hope I make sense.)
Zeus: France bc I wanna use my French knowledge, North India bc I’ve only ever been to South India to visit family, and Montreal bc I only went there for a day and didn’t really get to see anything.
