Torch - 04/05

I wanted to make a quick draw playing around with shadows so I made this drawing, it's from a story ideia I had a while ago and I wanted to draw the character with this pose holding the torch forward.

Took only 3 days to do this one, but maaaaaan I don't like it, hahahahaha. It was just a quick experiment so I avoided fixing the drawing and, as a result, it ended up looking pretty bad.

The most bothering part is the hand, man, I can't stop looking at that weird thumb, like the highlight in a drawing that calls your attention, but in this one it's because it looks awful. The face looks meh, the light in the face is technically wrong and the flame looks weird with the outline (the outlines were very poorly made too). The perspective is off too, as the torch looks gigantic (maybe if I worked with the handle to make the torch be inclined forward it would make more sense) and the arm doesn't sell very well the distance between his body and the torch.

Welp I hate it, was even a little embarrassed to post this one, but it was a fast one and is not like a lot of people are going to see this anyways :V
