I know Simon was banished to the shadow realm for like 99% of season 3 but I'm still sad him and Xavier barely interacted

Thinking about a school spirits au where the reason Simon can see Maddie is because he’s dying, like cancer or something wrong with his heart. And he knows but hasn’t told anyone yet, and over the course of the show it’s getting worse because he doesn’t want to admit he needs help so he’s not getting any medical help. And after a particularly stressful event or something his heart gives out and he dies for a few minutes and gets to actually hug Maddie and see the others before they manage to bring him back and the living gang forces him to get help.

Also everyone’s gay. Maybe I’ll write it when I have time….

but I won’t lie with I say I’m highkey shipping Xavier and Simon (I’m in the middle of writing a fic for them, my beloveds!) and they’re probably my favorite ship right now honestly 🫣
