For the past couple of years I have been saving some seeds from my favourite vegetables and herbs grown and growing them the next year or next couple of years. So far I could not be happier with the results through time. The flavour is real and the results are wonderful.
I started my garden in 2014? On a mission. To reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible. I may have been side tracked a little but forgot I was doing a small part all along. This have a wonderful impact on my garden and extends the gardening season for me well i to the winter.
I always make sure not to pick vegetables or herbs where any of the plant has been "compromised" by anything (bugs, diseases, etc.). That way the next crop will continue to get better and better year after year.
This year I am "re-growing": cinnamon basil, lavender, red bell pepers, mini sweet peppers, yellow pear tomatoes and dill (I'm sure there are a couple I forgot)
