Dragged behind a vehicle, boiling water thrown on him, and now scared to even exist. Clyde has been so abused and hurt by humans, that he cannot even make eye contact with us. He shakes at my touch as I attempt to clean his wounds, he jumps at the slightest noise, and he keeps his head down in hopes of being overlooked. This is the only life that Clyde has known. This is wrong, yet it happens everyday. *Clyde did not run as high of a fever last night. He took his medications, ate some chicken, and seemed to sleep better. I continue to apply cool washcloths to his injuries, which he isn’t fond of. For the pain that he must be in, Clyde has never once snapped or growled at me. • Clyde is on Tramadol and Ibuprofen for pain relief. • We are using Manuka Honey on Clyde’s burns. • There was a witness to Clyde’s abuse, however nothing will be done. This occurred in Tijuana, where abuse runs rampant. Many countries do not protect animals, and law enforcement will not respond to claims, even if there is a witness. • Clyde appears to be a Beagle mix. The vet puts his age between 2-4 years old.
