Regrann from @zachskow - Surrendering your dog for being "old" should be a fucking crime. Or should at the very least result in being immediately open-hand slapped in the face, on video, with permission to post on social media!!! This is a gorgeous, dignified life we are talking about, no less valuable than you or I! A thinking, feeling, regal being, capable of great magic and medicine. He's clearly confused and in shock, depressed at being left there. I know dogs don't think like we do and I'm not trying to anthropomorphism but you can see it!!! I can understand not being able to pay for a dog with mounting, end of life medical bills but simply giving up and turning in for old age is atrocious. If need be, send your dog off with dignity, surrounded by love, not in a cold, loud shelter, surrounded by sorrow. Let's get into action and put our energy into helping him! This #senior #doberman at @palmdaleacc was surrendered for being old. Let's show him and the world that his best days aren't up, that's he's got a real, loving home waiting for him!
