rewatching dawtde and i feel sick my stomach knowing at least a little bit of avery’s beating down on himself for “not being as smart as derlord” is most probably bc of wifies himself. calling derlord the smartest mc arg protagonist in the narration and showing off how good at cipher cracking and puzzle solving he only for avery to be thrust into the world expected to do the same. he’s posting to the same audience that saw derlords video and subsequent analysis. he’s trying to uphold expectations to an audience based on a guy he doesn’t even know beyond a name and a minecraft skin

happy 3 years to genloss tse this series has fundamentally changed me and my life forever. i’ve met so many incredibly talented and awesome people through it, ive gotten to share it with so many of my friends, and its helped me so much as a creative. i know its stupid to feel so like. on a pedestal abt liking a single character but unironically being the guy who likes hetch a lot has let me like. be known at least for a bit and thats not anything i’ve ever experienced in a fandom ever. yeah maybe its self centered to be like “im such a big fan of this freak everyone knows who i am!!” (which just like objectively isn’t true but yknow) but genuinely i don’t think i would be exactly where i am right now if it wasn’t for that. like i wouldn’t of made the friends i have without. it’s weird and silly but also it’s very important to me. it’s very to be loved is to be known and buddy ? i’m known

the fact also that ranboo is so close to me in age (like they’re i think only a year older than me?) and did ALL THAT AT 19 will never not be so like. awe inspiring. im 21 right now so its not exact anymore but it gives me so much hope and excitement as a creative

i’m very excited to see where this series as a whole goes. i’m very excited for what’s next. i’m very excited to see what ranboo and the rest of the team has next. thank you genloss for changing me life both for the better and for worse (i fucking hate this series i hate it so much it pisses me off i hope the hero EXPLODES into A MILLION PIECES in the social experiments sequel)(<- this is all a joke)(the only way it’s changed me for the worst is that i’ve been consistently super fucking annoying abt it since it came out)(LOL)
