"I want to meet and talk with everyone again" by @/yagura_noro
Interesting how there is 3 big 3 in the series
Mirio, Tamaki, Nejire.-> meh.
Deku, Bakugou, Todoroki.-> it's cool.
Shigaraki, Dabi, Toga.-> love them so much!!
Yes lol the characters are trio’d up quite a lot actually.
Shouto, Bakugo, & Midoriya are obviously a thing. I view that as a friendship thing primarily because they all help each other grow as people along the way and it’s just obvious they’ve all gotten real comfortable around each other through the Endeavor agency arc, but also as a potential coworker/hero thing since they work really well together
I’m also a fan of Iida being thrown in there: Iida, Shouto, Midoriya—> definitely a friendship/bonded through tough experiences thing, and you get the follow up later on in different moments (the war arc Iida following, retrieving Deku moment, Shouto’s noodle confession moment—> Iida is such a good friend )
Iida, Ochacko, & Midoriya have my heart purely for the organic friendship development they have. The way they all became friends at the beginning was just so realistic and relatable lol. I love that even though they aren’t the focus throughout, their friendships still matter and they even get their own volume cover together
The other kid trio I’m very much a fan of is Shouto, Ochacko, Midoriya (Savior Squad 🤩). This isn’t based on their interactions. Actually, Ochacko and Shouto barely interact, if even at all (though I suspect that’ll change later). This one is obviously based on the villains tying them together, which is why I’m a fan. I really do hope to see the three (or 6 😭) of them all interacting together later on. I’ll keep my fingers crossed 🤞. But even if not, it’ll be a missed opportunity but not a blow to the story. But we’ll see how that goes.
The Big 3–I really don’t care about them 😓
Dabi, Toga, and Shigaraki: I scream into the void about them enough. But also their “trio” dynamic is not based on their interactions at all either. Their individual circumstances and their individual stories all play off of each other without needing them to interact. And also they’re all similar to each other in ways they don’t/can’t say out loud, and for that I love the three of them. I personally don’t need them to interact directly with each other, like I’d hoped (still hope) to see with Shouto, Ocha, and Deku. I’d rather see them interact with the kids 🙏
Birthday gift for @klubii.
Happy (late) Birthday @klubii! I hope you like the drawing! <3

Global poll - week 1 - some observations:
The Top 7 are identical in the global vote and Japan, which means the majority of the votes are still from Japan. Asia and North America also seems to have a big impact on the vote.
Bakugou is first place everywhere except Middle East
Deku’s is on average safe 2nd
Shoto’s 3rd place looks a bit less safe - especially as Aizawa grabbed a very surprising 2nd spot in Asia
Dabi is also doing really well, but he needs more votes in Asia and Japan to get closer to Top 3
Kirishima and Hawks are safe Top 10 but I don’t think they have a chance for 3rd spot
The lower 3 ranks of the Top 10 seem to be contested by 8 characters: All Might, Uraraka, Shigaraki, Toga, Monoma, Shinsou, Kaminari and Endeavor.
Japan had Toga and Endeavor in Top 10, but the global polls pulled in Ochako and Shigaraki instead
Endeavor especially is very split - he’s Top 10ish in Japan, Asia, Middle East and Africa, but is only 20ish or not ranked in the West.
Out of the Japanese Top 20 only Tokoyami didn’t rank who was swapped with Mirko
The Top 10 will get an illustration, so don’t get discouraged and vote for your faves!!!! There is a decent chance to get the LoV Trio all in Top 10 as well as the Savior Squad!!!
This one didn't make Top 10, but an incredible piece for the Fanart Contest
I’m going to be blunt, Shoto did far more to save Touya than Midoriya and Uraraka ever did to save Shigaraki and Toga respectively. Shoto empathised with Touya since he can see why he became like this in the first place, shows concern for his well being while holding him accountable, attempted multiple times to reach him out despite Touya’s rejection, has a concrete plan on how to non lethally stop Touya, and developed a move for that kind of purpose. With Midoriya and Uraraka we don’t see them doing that since they have spent most of the manga demonising them and when it came to save them they didn’t have any concrete plan on how to stop them non lethally or de escalate.
I don't know if "more" is the right word - after all, Izuku did give up his quirk to try to get through to Tenko.
For me, the biggest difference is that the narrative was very messy around Deku and Uraraka of what they were actually trying to do, and also how they recklessly endangered others around them.
I think Shouto's fight stands out for:
The element of preparation and thought he put into what he was going to do - and developing a move to achieve it
Striking a clear balance between the need to protect innocent bystanders and the want to save Toya
The lack of "I won't forgive you" kind of judgement.
The way Shouto's main helper (Iida) is someone he himself helped to become the person who takes lost children home
So it was kind of sad that we had to wait for a "delayed breakthrough" rather than getting instant gratification like Deku and Ochako did, but like I said many times, this was obviously because of Endeavor.
So, you are trying to say uraraka trying to suppress her crush on izuku to focus on becoming a hero is not a good thing ?
It never occurred to me that it would be a good thing.
I feel like it's a false dichotomy - there is no contradiction between having a crush on someone and being a good hero. You can be both. Suppressing and avoiding feelings are never really the answer in the story. Also, the time Ochako spent obsessing about needing to supress her crush and the time Toga spent obsessing about her crush are both the same. Both is counterproductive.
All villain-hero pairs are set up with these extremes:
Ochako doesn't need to shut away her feelings to be able to be a hero and Toga doesn't need to fully consume others in order to love them (bc love can be a source of inspiration)
Shouto doesn't need to hold himself back in order not to be like his father, and Touya doesn't need to push himself beyond the brink to prove his worth (bc they both get to decide the reason of their existence)
Deku can’t save the world by destroying himself and Tomura can't save himself by destroying the world (bc they are both part of the world).
Or something along these lines. I don't think either extreme is meant to be "good". They are paired up because they can learn from each other and achieve a better balance point within themselves by mingling with the other side and see their point of view.
Well, this came out smaller than I intended.
Anyways, this would be my character, Tingus, as a frog. Yup.
I probably won’t be uploading anything serious until Christmas. =P Gotta work on them Christmas drawings. :3
Anywho, happy holidays!
This character is part of the group Savior Squad.
