Summary: Anyone remember Hitomi (aka Lucas’ hyper-religious grandmother, aka World’s Worst Grandma)? This is her younger sister. I got a decent bit of worldbuilding surrounding this side of Lucas’ family (including the fact that they’re distant relatives to the Aura Guardian that hid the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs), but basically Mahiru is Aura-sensitive and is very aware of their connection to said Aura Guardian.

She has been in touch with Lucas’ father from time to time, but has yet to actually meet Lucas.

Name: Chris O’Donnell

Relation to Dakota: Former partner in the Bureau of Time Travel

Chris O’Donnell was Dakota’s partner before Cavendish. The two of them were pretty close friends, very similar to how Anthony and Block were but not quite to that extent. Though, much like Anthony, Chris was the person who helped Dakota start to heal from his MP Timeline trauma and adapt to a more easygoing lifestyle. They meshed very well together, and were possibly as good as Brick and Savannah in terms of skill, if not better. They thwarted time villains pretty easily, with nary a close call.

Until one mission, where they decided to split up– divide and conquer, as you will. This resulted in Chris facing off against the villain alone, and Dakota only arriving just in time to see Chris fall to his death.

This event is what drives Dakota’s determination to keep Cavendish alive, no matter the cost to himself.

Xion is the kinda kid that really does get along with everyone, and Dawn would be no different. Dawn has that chill vibe that would absolutely drop Xion’s typical guard, and then it’s all curiosity and friendliness. Depending on how verses work-out, I can see a number of interactions playing-out. In general, Dawn has a lot more experience than Xion and so there’s just a lot of potential for teaching/ mentoring. Showing Xion pokemon contests? How to do make-up? Clothes? Dawn helping Xion catch and train her first pokemon? Extremely valid, already love it. 

Xion is an extrovert with a big, bold personality; And Dawn is um, easily startled. Dawn and Xion I think would work into this fairly comfortable dynamic, that classic introvert-extrovert back-and-forth. No doubt Xion would be the one taking the initiative in the relationship, but Dawn’s aforementioned knowledge would keep Xion from walking all over her. Xion is absolutely the one person who would think Dawn is so cool and the bees knees. 

I also think that Dawn has been through a lot of pain and heartbreak, and despite having lived a comparably short life, so has Xion. There’s a lot in that they can learn from each other. I’m sure Dawn can help Xion deal with issues of inferiority, anxiety, and fear. Just as much teach Xion how to cope with them as she does show Xion how to exist in them.  A+ man, that’s the good stuff.

Anyway, let Dawn be Xion’s nervous big sister
