The Garleans Have a Festival
While I was in Kugane, it so happened that there was a festival put on by the Garleans. I decided I should attend this festival. There was much activity and many people.
I saw a play which was very entertaining. The history it proposed was not very true, but I enjoyed the battle scenes, the singing and dancing, and the special effects. I saw the performer who played the part of the villain in the piece later and complimented them on their work. I have never acted before, so I also asked her about that, in comparison to singing and dancing. I fear I had interrupted her and her friend on their way to get food, so I excused myself so that they might continue on their way.
I myself tried this “pizza.” It was quite good. The fizzy beverage they served was not so enjoyable, so I do not believe I shall order it again. The serving size was far too large for me, however. I gave slices to people who wanted them. Still, I must admit, in my gluttony I ate two pieces. The vendor was very proud of the styrofoam container in which he served this pizza. It is an unnatural substance, and an affront to the Dusk Mother. The Garleans are not as smart as they think.
Miss Savo was among the performers who later sang and danced. I enjoyed the various performers. However, Miss Savo claimed that she had been brought to Kugane against her will, and she had bindings and an explosive collar on! I confronted one of the supervisors about this and demanded action. He claimed that someone else had exceeded their authority. I chose to withhold judgment until more information was available. It seems that amongst the Garleans, instead of accepting responsibility, each will blame another for a bad thing that has happened. I believe they call this called bureaucracy.
It was an interesting excursion. I returned to my yurt to rest, as I must sing and dance later this week.
