Tennotober 06 - Bird 3
I know Bird 3 is a Thing, but I've only encountered it as a floof in the decoration menu. Therefore, have a little Sawgaw family! I like these guys, and they feel much easier to catch than the birds of Plains of Eidolon, but maybe that's just me.
Jasper and Biz (present through comms) find an unattended sawgaw nest and they wait as long as they can for the parent(s) to return, but they don't come back (likely scared off by nearby Corpus, no longer seeing the nest as a safe place to raise young and deciding to start over somewhere else). They can't risk the eggs freezing so they take them both back to Fortuna to incubate. One ends up going bad, but the other eventually hatches. What is inside it?

A hybrid of two of the options (parents two different subspecies)
A sleepy space kid getting some actual rest with the biggest Sawgaw floof they could convince Biz to make.

Sawgaws can in rare instances get stuck inside the mushrooms around the Vallis. Luckily this one I managed to tranq it (after shooting into the shroom like 10 times) and then fly up in my archwing to find just the right spot to call in the bot.
