I've probably posted this before but I have this really stupid headcanon that Strahm, on at least one occasion, called Hoffman a "pig," and Hoffman silently panicked over whether the guy was calling him fat, using a derogatory term for a cop, or insinuating that he knew Hoffman was secretly a Jigsaw apprentice
