Seth had already set his mind to the fact that the house that he’d been living in since his release from jail was ready to be sold. The memory of the hostage situation plagued him every time he went into the house, not to mention whatever would race through Emmeline’s mind if she was back in the same room again. Beyond that, with Harley staying over and occasionally her mother and sister, there was not enough space for anyone. Harley didn’t even have her own room, it was just Seth’s office transformed to have a crib in the already small space. Seth wasn’t broke and he definitely wasn’t attached to this house— at least not anymore. Until he found a new place though, he’s been between Fortuna, Em’s house and his house (usually by himself). Now, in the Clubhouse thinking that he would have a beer and call it a night, he’s surprised to find a number of people hooping and hollering, enjoying a small taste of freedom from work for the holiday. At least that was his best guess. “How you get your ass wrapped up in this?” he asks with a grin. While he’d planned to have a single drink, now it’s quite apparent he’ll be there longer. “Because I was not plannin’ on bein’ here this fuckin’ long.”
